We plan our projects

We plan all our projects. We use our plan to meet your deadlines, and to produce the right deliverables. All our documentation projects include a detailed Design Phase that includes at least four things:

• Define our documentation strategy.
• Identify project goals and priorities.
• Detail and outline the document before the work begins.
• Generate and obtain approval for a prototype of the hardcopy or online document.

All these critical elements are detailed before we begin authoring a single word. Because we plan our projects, you can plan the cost of the project.

Developing your documents

During our Development Phase, we work closely with our clients to:

• Research, test, and obtain product details.
• Write contents of online or hardcopy documents.
• Prepare index and keyword lists.
• Execute technical review of contents with technical experts in your organization.
• Execute comprehensive edit of all content.

We manage our projects carefully to ensure we achieve the correct balance between quality, cost, and timeliness.

Our clients are involved in the project from start to finish, and are asked to review all content for technical accuracy. We provide regular status reports that allow our clients to track project status.

Producing your documents

During our Production Phase, we:

• Complete a final edit pass of all documents.
• Obtain signoff on contents.
• Prepare content for delivery to printers or for online distribution.
